Dear Families,

Choosing the right high school for your daughter -- it’s an exciting time for your family. Yet we know that it can be confusing and uncertain, as well.

As the Director of Finance and Operations, I will be your resource for information and answers concerning everything financial. As part of our mission, we are committed to keeping tuition affordable for those families that desire an independent, Catholic, college-prep education for their daughters. While the responsibility of paying for your daughter’s education rests primarily with the family, we recognize the heavy strain the cost of tuition can place on family resources. As a parent of three children who attended Catholic schools from Pre-K through high school, no one understands this more than me. To help ease the financial burden, we offer various payment plans, scholarships and financial assistance. If Saint Gertrude is the right school for your daughter, trust that we will do all that we can to make it happen for you. We encourage you not to let the tuition rate keep you from going through the admission process and learning all that Saint Gertrude has to offer your daughter.

In addition to our scholarship program, the school maintains a financial aid program to assist those families that demonstrate financial need. Parents often ask me “Is it worth it for me to apply for financial assistance?”
My answer to the question is always this, if you feel if will be difficult to meet your household expenses while paying our tuition, you should apply and see what happens, particularly the first year. It only takes a little time and you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
