Gator Aid Boosters Club is committed to the Saint Gertrude High School Athletics Program by raising awareness and visibility through financial and volunteer support.

Currently, almost two thirds of all SGHS students participate in athletics. Through athletic involvement, students develop teamwork, responsibility, self-confidence and further reinforce the core values of Saint Gertrude High School. With 20 teams, every Saint Gertrude student has the opportunity to experience the life lessons learned through competition and physical activity.

Who we are:

Gator Aid is comprised of parents, faculty and staff, alumnae, friends and businesses who believe in and support the value of Saint Gertrude Athletics.

Help our teams achieve and maintain a competitive edge against our opponents through the resources of Gator Aid.

Membership year runs July 1 - June 30 annually.

Corporate sponsors receive a business listing on the SGHS website and on banners in the Sister Charlotte Lange Gym and the Outdoor Athletic Center.

Goals:

Develop sportsmanship, service, academic/athletic recognition and support our current athletes and coaches.
The annual Awards Banquet is the premier event to showcase our athletic achievement and development throughout the year. The Hall of Fame game and induction is a means of recognizing career achievement by our former athletes. In addition, Gator Aid provides resources for team building, leadership development and trining which are both financial or eperience based.

Develop and enhance all athletic programs
Through additional financial support, we can continue to provide better and safer transportation, and facilities and equipment that might not be covered in our annual operating budgets. We may be able to hire additional coaches or provide opportunities for professional development of our staff.

Increase awareness in the greater community
All spirit wear, uniforms and publications will work together to heighten the branding of our Gator logo through standardization of its use.

Promote spirit within the school
Spirit Club, GreenOut Night, and other events that increase attendance at SGHS games will be the responsibility of current students. Those who are consistent participants will be recognized.

Every Volunteer Matters:

Volunteering to plan and execute events is key to our success.
Please volunteer to participate in one of the following Gator Aid Committees:

Concessions: sell food and SGHS events

Spirit Wear: sell spirit wear products at SGHS events and through an online store.

Event Coordination: Help pl and implement the annual BC SGHS 5K Challenge, Athleti Banquet and the Tailgator.

Each committee provides an opportunity to support SGHS athletes and provides service to our community… And have fun while you help the Gators!
